How to Keep Full on an Empty Wallet
The below are my ideas that work for me. Read the article for their good ideas.

Beans and legumes have tons of protein, iron and fiber and are really the perfect food staple in my house. Protein is important because it fills us up, burns fat, and is the building block for muscle growth and maintenance and imperative to building the chemicals our brain needs for best performance. Fiber is important for our digestive system, [and healthy weight, because it helps us to feel full] and iron is important for our overall cell functions.

15 bean soup [or even served over brown rice] lasts for several meals [Put it in the fridge for leftovers.] and is super inexpensive. [I add plenty of hot sauce and chili powder to give it a *pseudo-chili* taste]. Plus, hot sauce gives our brains the beta-endorphin kick I personally need!

Giving the family protein & iron in the form of beans is inexpensive, easy and much healthier than red meat.

Another favorite of mine is black beans and brown rice. I chop up an onion to simmer and soften with the beans and apply liberally hot sauce. Then for crunch I add it atop the beans that's over the rice. Add soy-nuts for extra crunch and protein.

If you live with a flesh-eater, however, who *has* to have his meat...it gets more expensive sometimes but I prefer the organic chicken, turkey sausages and even the soy burgers. [Don't tell them though!]

Another healthy snack/meal - relatively inexpensive is 1. "turkey pepperoni" in the little plastic container in the refrigerated section. 2. Pizza Sauce. 3. Whole grain torillas. 4. Shredded "pizza blend" cheese. 5. Onions if you prefer [I do.]

Make it like a pizza, cook it in the microwave maybe a minute and a half. Wrap it like a burrito. I eat two or three and I'm satisfied. Tons of protein! Very healthy! Depending upon the number of tortillas you buy...good for several several snacks or several meals!
My3cents.com - Target Informative - Targets no return policy, return policy...

Yet another story and movement to not shop Target - regarding Target's "no receipt, no exchange" policy.

"My daughter received scooter purchases from Target for Christmas. The scooter was defective we went to exchange the scooter and were told without the receipt we could not exchange it, or get store credit. I am now stuck with a defective scooter and an upset 5 year old. Target's no return policy is undoubtedly the most ridiculous policy I have ever heard of."

"I have contacted every news service in my area and I think everybody needs to know not to shop at Target and stop supporting a cooperation that does not have great customer service. If folks stop shopping at Target stores it will hurt their investors eventually and they will be forced out of business or forced to change. There were other folks in line to return or exchange items with the same problem. I for one will not shop at Target any more. Wal-mart has a great return policy and I plan to shop there instead."

Me too friend. Thank you for sharing your story.

A "unique gift ideas" website that delivers as the name spells out. As a child I would have loved to have gotten a stuffed animal that had real breathing sounds!

Another angle this site promotes are its gifts for "Boomers and Beyond"; Everything from gifts for grandparents and seniors to healthy living and pampering to gadgets and business gifts. It's a site that lives up to it's name.

It also has a "Christmas Gift Ideas" section and with Christmas around the corner... Get going!
