I have only three extreme pet peeves in my internet surfing.
- One of them is a clever script telling me I need to get Firefox so that I can see their page properly. [With their affiliate ID attached to the Firefox button no less.]
- The other is a pop up page with an advertisement [or an attempted pop up with an advertisement].
- And finally, when audio jumps at you; music, that damned sitepal, or those new confounded "get paid as it plays" audi ads I see desperate bloggers employing.
This site violates the first rule of annoyance. And when did this thinking get reversed that web surfers are under the management of the site owner?
Isn't it up to me, as site owner to make you, as guest, comfortable? Aren't I supposed to be catering to what you already have instead of telling you what you need to visit me?
